Why are people (like me) so hung up on whether they are having a boy/girl? I am one of those people and I don't know why it bothers me that I am having a second boy when everyone I know has a daughter (I really wanted a girl). It is so dumb and I know that there are so many more important things than gender... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

there's nothing wrong with wanting to have an experience and bond with each of the genders. like i said, it is totally normal. my MIL had four boys and felt the same way and now she has 4 DILs and she treats us all like her DDs and loves it -- takes us shopping, gossips, bakes, with us. And she has way more granddaughters than grandsons to spoil. Maybe it's just not your time yet -- maybe there might be a little delay for you, too, like it was for MIL... [ Reply | More ]
