urgent, please help! My 6 mo old dd is crying non stop while I am trying to sleep train her. I just went into the room after 10 min hard crying,and picked her up for a min, then left room. She is crying even harder. What should I do now? It is pretty hard to hear her cry. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i found that much harder than just letting ds cry without going in - i felt ferber was mean. hey i am here for a second, but leaving again. if you are commited to cio, you have to leave her. the 1st night was 30 min, 2nd 35 min, 3rd, 20 min, 4th 10 and that was it [ Reply | More ]

thanks. it was 30 min tonight. I felt like being so mean though. I went in once and made the mistake to pick her up. After that I just let her cried for streight 15 min, poor thing, finally fell asleep. [ Reply | More ]
