Does anyone have any experience with slight vaginal adhesion after delivery? I had my 4 week postpartum visit to my ob yesterday. She told me that interior of my vagina is stuck together a little. She tried to stretch my vagina out with an instrument but could not separate it completely. She told me to take baths and have a lot of sex with lots of lub. When I came back home, I felt like after my delivery. (stings when urinating) I am really bummed out and scared since I thought I finally recovered from my delivery. Now, I have to go through it all over again! (i had a natural vaginal delivery 4 weeks ago) Has this happened to anyone? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I am sorry that you are going through this. My sister's SIL had something similar happen. In her case, the stitches were not done properly. Weeks after delivery she had to be recut and restitched. It was very painful, but thankfully she healed quickly and she is fine. [ Reply | More
