I don't not plan to become a parent who sends her 5 year old daughter to beauty pageants, but people keep saying that my 6 month old would make a great model because she is cute and unusual looking. Does anoyne have experience with kid's modeling agencies? Who do I call or where do I go? Any recommendations? I would like to hear about your experiences, positive and negative. i'm sure you know that people just say that, in general. also, do you *really* need the money? why put your child to work? the least you can do is get feedback from ford children...a real agency. don't half ass it. [ Reply | More

(Not OP) I don't think so. My first child went through an intensely beautiful phase from about 5 to 9 mos. Her face was perfectly symmetrical with a bow mouth. People CONSTANTLY suggested to me that she model. I was even told she could win a contract for Gerber! I wasn't interested, and she is most ordinary looking now. [ Reply | More

same here. My ds has gone from jaw-droppingly gorgeous to average to super-cute...it's a cycle. We used to get stopped all the time and told he should model. Now we get it pretty rarely. I think his bratty behavior doesn't help with that, though. [ Reply | More
