I asked my dh for a separation and told him I want him to leave. Problem is he won't. The house is in my name and the down payment was the proceeds from the sale of a condo I owned before marriage. I could just take my dc's and leave but he won't pay the mortgage (I pay all household bills). What can I do? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

They're going to have to leave it eventually if you divorce, because what it sounds like is your DH is going to fight you and the court will most likely say, ok, sell the house and split it [ Reply | More

sorry when I left he never gave me a cent for support of dc.Fighting me for joint custody'and trying to prove I owe him support even though i was not working .I hope you can get him out cause if you leave it could be harder and he could take the condo.i waited wy too long to get lawyer'please get one asap! No. He may record or tape her without her knowing it and show it as evidence that she is the one who is abusive. This happened to my former supervisor. The OP should take the high road and get a good attorney ASAP. [ Reply | More
