ds gets upset when I tell him our babysitter is coming over. She's been babysitting almost weekly for over a year. What do I do? I would get a new one but I have a db also and don't want to leave db with a stranger. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

fwiw my 3 year old is super duper clingy and hates when i go to the bathroom without him. but we still leave him with sitters and he's fine. don't hem and haw and linger - just go. (of course I'd also probe to make sure there's no real reason that particular sitter scares or upsets him...) [ Reply | More
