I have a bad cold that has been going on for over a week now. The doctor gave me amoxicillan and said that if it wasn't getting better, then I should take it. Now my ears are stuffed up so I am thinkig I should take it. The directions say take 2 per day but I swear the doctor said take 1 per day. Now I am confused and I don't want to call over the weekend for somethign stupid like this. The bottle says 875 mg. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I would not take anything for a bad cold. I would try to get into bed with lots of tea and OJ and get as much help as possible with the kids and let my body heal. [ Reply | More

hm. well, i see nothing wrong with calling your doctor. it's your health, for god's sake, and you certainly pay enough when you visit to expect a callback, even if it's at an inconvenient time for the doctor. seriously, it's their job, I would call. [ Reply | More
