single/dating moms: do you think that a guy who lies about both his age and about having children on an internet dating site is a liar? when asked on first date, he answered honestly, but didn't offer an explanation of why he lied and i didn't argue the point. he is new to internet dating and i wonder if he thought that's what he was supposed to do. my most recent exbf was a huge liar and i'm so afraid of it happening again i dont know if i'm being overly cautious. people are people regardless of how they are introduced to their date. A liar is a liar. Considering you attracted a big time liar before and hated it, why on earth would you chance that again? np: might just be a rookie mistake. he admitted it in person. My dh shaved 3 years off his age on his on-line profile and didn't tell me until a month or so into it. At that point, he wished he hadn't done it and didn't know how to tell me. I actually didn't care, and new him at that point, to be a good person. 6 years later and 2 kids later, that is the only lie I have ever known him to tell. We laugh about it now.h [ Reply | More
