Dont just wander around - have a plan - know where the age appropriate things are for your kids and hit those up first. The disney website is really helpful at identifying where you should go for each age group. [ Reply | More

stay close to the park where you wll spend most time. go early in the morning. get fast passes first thign for rides you want. if you can afford it, get one of those tour guides [ Reply | More

Rent a nearby house (we used vrbo.com and had a great experience); it was cheap (800 for a week) and it allowed us a pool and space. Spend 2 days in the parks, 1 day out. (We minigolfed and swam on the non-park days). There is loads of info on the web, and read and plan. It will be a fun time and far less ovewhelming once you're there. For kids under 6, skip epcot... stay only at the hotels that the monorail goes too, we stayed at the resort at animal Kingdom which meant buses which was a big pain with the stroller [ Reply | More
