Need to lose (gulp) 40lbs. (I'd like to say I just gave birth but dd (third) is 16mo) Do I really, really need to give up wine/beer? It's such a weakness of mine. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

No- but go cold turkey for a few weeks and work your way into 2 glass of each max when you do have it- it's the only way to get your weight loss plan under control- WW really is amazing and works- I swear- I just lost the last 10 pounds of baby weight that I've been struggling with (my ds is 20 months old btw). You do not have to give up alcohol but if you will have to eat fewer calories to make up the difference. [ Reply | More
