We made sure that the week before school started, we were on a good sleep-wake-up schedule. We timed the trip to school. We made sure that we had playdates with new classmates over the summer so that there were relationships already established before the first day of school I think that regular two playdates during the week and one after school activity are pretty normal. Good grief. We did none of this (except earlier bedtime week before school started) and all was well. [ Reply | More ]

I don't know what you question is. We worked to set up a similar schedule that school has also with lunch time and naps. It was really helpful and DD adjusted easily. [ Reply | More ]
