dh, dc and I went to the clifton inn in charlottesville, va when I was pg. it was hot but nice. they had a great pool, great food, nice service-really took care of us. we toured wineries, went to monticello, walked around uva grounds (dh and I attended uva). keswick is also really nice. we flew jet blue to richmond, then drove (about an hr away). it's not really camping though. it's an air conditioned cabin w/ separate bedrooms w/ beds and a bathroom and tv. it's so much fun for kids. I went "camping" last summer while pg w/ #3 and my kids had a blast. [ Reply | More

because it's on a campground which also has tent sites and rv sites. some campgrounds are very bare bones, others have phenomenal facilities and activities (playgrounds, pools, jumping pillows, waterslides, etc...) [ Reply | More
