So I finally ditched my car in favor of public transport. Today was horrendous. How do people do this on a daily basis with two kids? All I kept doing was chasing after the one who was running away from me while trying to protect the younger guy from getting jostled by the crowd. Gave up on the stroller bc its so difficult to get up and down all the subway stairs. Ugh. Need some pointers. How do you do it? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

how old are your kids? i don't find it that bad, take stroller regularly for younger dc though not always. kids are 18 mos and 5. it also depends on subway line and time you travel. [ Reply | More ]

I avoid rush hour whenever possible and use the bus instead of the subway as much as possible. The bus is slower, but much easier, at least for us - the stop is in front of our building. [ Reply | More ]
