the therapist suggested leaving the house. a friend is staying there so there is someone there to go back to. i think the therapist is good, so we will keep going. after the services and everything, i think i'll have to revisit and get to work making a different sort of life for us [ Reply | More

I read your first post (didn't have anything to add I'm afraid) but have been thinking of you quite a bit. Have only one DC but cannot imagine life w/out her. Hoping the therapist - and maybe a group for those who've been through the same thing - can help over time. [ Reply | More

Joining in with more or less the same sentiments. I know someone who lost her oldest child, and they took a long vacation with the younger. I think it helped them to get away from everything. They lost their child after a long and grueling battle with cancer, though. [ Reply | More
