yeah, she really used to be my favorite author. i guess she's getting bored. it's either formulaic with superficial characters and stupid plots or it's some paranormal stuff. I'll check the authors you mentioned. i've read two of jodi picoult's books and they are a little too heavy for my mood. but i can try again [ Reply | More

Try Suzanne Finnamore. She has 3 books. One about getting engaged, one about having a baby, and one about getting divorced. I believe the first is a novel and the others are memoirs but she is a fanastic writer and absoulatley hysterically funny. I was sad when her 3rd book came out and I found she got divorced.
