i had a pretty bad clog that was causing a fever. luckily no mastitis occurred. the nurse at ob's office said to make sure empty that breast at the feeding and if still engorged, pump pump pump. also warm compresses and massaging the area are helpful [ Reply | More ]

it will feel tender for a few days and may take some time to work out. not sure how old db is, but is it possible to take a few hot showers a day (during naps)? [ Reply | More ]

Make sure baby's chin is sorta pointed the way of the blocked duct. Somehow that helps that particular duct more. [ Reply | More ]
