Please, how do I deal with a 3-1/2 year old who DOES NOT LISTEN? I have to repeat things 30 times - I'm sick of my voice and I'm sure so is he. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

still dealing with that at 4-1/2. i'm trying to let the little things go and just focus on the dangerous ones, like following me into a building instead of playing in the parking lot. also, just make him do things, or take them away. dd talked to her bagel for 10 min this am instead of eating it, so after a few warnings, i just took it away and told her she'd be hungry until snack at school. she had a fit, but I think she'll remember it.
