6 month old dd is very good with eye contact, laughes when play peekaboo. But she is so quiet, no babbling at all. Also she doesn't inmitate such thing as stick tongue out. In the books it always says at 6 month or younger they can babble and inmitate certain thing already. Should I be worried? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

No. My DD didn't start babbling until 9-10 months. [ Reply | More ]

Mine doesn't do those things either, but is very communicative in other ways, crawling etc. I'm not worried. [ Reply | More ]

crawling at 6 month? on top of not babbling, she is not turning yet. I read about if one is physically ahead, then the babbling will be a little late. But mine is not doing either. Oh, well. My 2 year old has a diagnose of PDD, that is why I am so sensitive. [ Reply | More ]
