SUPERB AND SWEET NANNY AVAILABLE! The hardest thing about moving out of state is leaving our nanny, Maria. She has taken superb care of our now 2 1/2 year old daughter, since she was five months. Maria is a gem. Parents have approached me to say that after watching her with our daughter at the playground, they’ve asked to her come work for them. Maria allowed my partner and I to return to work free of worry or concern after our respective maternity leaves. She is conscientious, energetic and very sweet with our daughter. Prompt and dependable, Maria keeps the house and our daughter's things clean and tidy, and she is often able to stay late and baby-sit on weekends. She is sweet, affectionate and respectful with our daughter—who sprints to the door when she hears the knock in the morning, and throws her arms around Maria each night before she leaves. Maria reads and sings constantly with her, and as much as we’d like to think that it was us, it was Maria who taught her to count and learn her letters. She brought her to infant music class, and now to the library, toddler art, soccer and Gymboree classes; on occasion she has brought her to pediatrician appointments. Maria is a parent herself (to a 17 year old), and we have learned a tremendous amount from her. We’d like to help her find a family that will love her as much as we do. Ideally, she is interested in taking care of a newborn or infant. She can start in late July, or any time in August or September. If you know anyone that might like to work with Maria, please pass along my info: 646 872 0173. Thank you!! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]
