Help! Just got 2.9 y/o dd her first bed. It's a bed frame, and we got a bunky board and very thin mattress so that she could climb in and out. We ordered a safety rail from One Step Ahead.. we installed it correctly (I think), but I don't understand how you can change the sheets without basically reinstalling the rail each time. Anyone btdt? Is there a better railing for a bedframe and no box spring? tia! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

When we put our son in his bed without a rail (17mo) we put the old crib mattress on the floor next to the bed in case he fell out. He did fall a couple of times the first few days but never since. Maybe you don't need the rail long term? [ Reply | More ]
