Affair mom here. Haven't checked in since my Friday talk with dh. Well, it had gone well. We ended up "together" that night, only for him to avoid me and start in with his anger all over again. He's so hurt and I feel sick over how I've hurt him .We're not really any further along except that he is not sure he can ever trust me again. I told him I know that I may have risked the marriage but I did lay out in an e-mail (since that seems to be the only way we're speaking), that I was feeling very uncared for at the time. He spent many weekends away, night out with friends, etc. However, I was a coward for turning to someone else. I should have fought harder for us. I'm scared to hear his response, but he still says he needs time and that this may not work. I'm crying even as I write this. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

she did not "whore around." She turned to someone else because she felt neglected. Sometimes one spouse pushes the other into something egregious in order not to take any responsibility; that seems to be what is going on here. [ Reply | More

Well, maybe he can try being sensitive to her needs and not neglect her. She may also be worried that he will beglect her again (spend weekends away, pay no attention to her, etc.). They both have things to work on.
