2 yr old got her shots last thursday am and there is still a bump underneath where she got one of them. it's not red or infected, but it's a hard bump and not small. it doesn't seem to be bothering her. Has anyone seen this reaction before? (We're on vacation so i can't go into see the ped). [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Why can't you call the ped who gave the shot? [ Reply | More ]

DD just had this after 6mo shots. Ped said it was totally normal, called innoculation cyst? and it's normal for it to last a few weeks. She said it was a sign that the vaccine was working. I assume it's the same for the MMR. B/c I'm paranoid and with all the controversy around the MMR i'd probably still call ped just to double check its normal. But I think it's pretty safe to say shes fine. [ Reply | More ]
