Dieted and exercized for 3 weeks, lost no weight (actually gained a pound). So frustrated I have given up. Now I'm starving & snacking all the time and feel awful. Not looking for advise (need to get back on track) just venting. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

That's the hardest. You REALLY have to up your exercising, not just diet. When you only diet, you hold water. [ Reply | More ]

1. do not weigh yourself for four weeks, starting from the last time you weighed yourself. 2. pick on time of the day and switch your eating habits. you can choose breakfast. you can choose late afternoon snack. you can choose dinner or after dinner snacking. pick a time that you acknowledge is a problem area but taht you think you can really stick to a change. try it for a week. OP: I changed ALL of my eating habits for 3 weeks to no avail. Really did eat healthy. Not crazy, just healthy. I will try to target as you recommend and see if it has any more success. [ Reply | More ]

OP: Cardio (35 min) and crunches 3-4 times a week; mainly ate veggies and low-fat meats. Snacks were nuts, yogurt and fruit. No eating after 8:00 pm. [ Reply | More ]

Sorry, but that's not enough exercise. If you want to take off the lbs. you need to exercise 5-6 days per week with at least 4 sessions of either 45 minutes cardio/moderate or 30 minutes cardio/intense. You must also do more than crunches when it comes to weight resistance training, preferably weight training that works large muscle groups at one time, e.g. squats, lunges, pull-ups, push-ups, bench press. . .If you don't like weight training try Pilates (real pilates not mat pilates). If you've never worked out before it would be worth it to have a few sessions with a personal trainer. [ Reply | More ]
