How do I start a public school? I hear all the time how this or that school was started by a group of parents (Anderson started like that, didn't it?). Is this nowadays still possible? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Remember that Anderson didn't start out as a school - it started as a program within PS 9. But I hear about new schools opened by individuals as charter schools. You can look into that. [ Reply | More

I"m aware of when the school was formed. I have a child in school there. The parents and administrators are quite intelligent and proud of the roots of the school and there very well may be someone there who has access to or knows the history. Do you not know any history past 35 years ago? I don't get your lol. Trying to be helpful. [ Reply | More
