OP- my question was more whether you still leave DB with nanny if DB is sick, not which of you or DH stay with DB. Should have been clearer! also, do you/DH stay w db for ANY sickness (including colds, low fevers, mild virus) or only if db is really sick? [ Reply | More

from above poster - we don't have a nanny (ds is in daycare) so one of us has to stay home. we'll stay home with him if he has a fever or has something contagious. if we stayed home with him when he had a cold, he'd never go to school!! [ Reply | More

NP -- have 2 kids. If I stayed home every time one of them had a cold, I would definately be fired! I stay home when they are really sick, meaning throwing up, fever of 103 or above, that kind of thing. usually if the child is home from school 3 days, I am home only the first day. [ Reply | More
