what to tip movers? i heard 10% is about right. but i have a catch - they are storing my stuff for a few days, so they move it out and into storage and then back into my new place. who do i tip and when? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

when we did this, we tipped the guys who moved everything out (also separately tipped the guys who did all the packing), and then we tipped again for the guys who moved us in (some guys were the same, some different). it was an expensive move. [ Reply | More

what did u tip each set? 10% of entire move each time (so 20% total)? the place broke down the charges for us (move in and move out) so do we tip each set 10% of their section? [ Reply | More
