Murray Hill/Gramercy Park Moms --where do you take your kids to get their hair cut? That Kids Cutz place of 30th & 3rd has closed I think. Need to tkae 1 yo DS for his first haircut and I want to take him to a kids places. TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Scandinavia is cute. Best part is membership is $65 per year. There is one playroom open year-round, and then the second they open for winter. Best value in the city. You must know about Wee Ones on 36th and Little Spirits on 38th. But i did like Gymboree the best of that bunch too. If you are a sahm or wahm, look into the St Vartans Playgroup In St. Vartans park for when dc turns 2. Great program, great value. [ Reply | More

yeah, I am familar with them. But we live arouind the corner from gymboree so that is just the easiest. And it is pretty big and nice. I will definaltey do Scandinavia House when it gets cooler and thanks for the tip on the St. Vartan playground. We go to that playground regularly but I didn't know there was group there. No internet, in person. Very low-key program. Stick your head in the building and say hello to Stefanie, she is the director. classes are M and W for 2 yo and T and Th for 3 yo. Program hours are 10:30 to 1:00. Stefanie usually gets there around 9:30. [ Reply | More

must attend, that is why you need to be a sahm or wahm to go. it is a parent cooperative, so you have some limited participation responsibilities. you can sign up for one or two days per week, so if you do woh, if you could structure your schedule you could do it too. [ Reply | More
