No, especially not for grade school. You can provide enrichemnt yourself or through afterschool activities. An exception might be a special needs child. I would consider a loan for high school private, but only if other options were untenable. Also many good boarding schools have large endowments for financial aid [ Reply | More

yes, it is an investment in the future. We will be refinancing to pay for private even with FA. That being said you still have to take care of your own needs like funding for retirement. [ Reply | More
