If I eat 1300 - 1450 calories a day will I lose weight? I've been doing it for a week, and it seems like I should eat less. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Seeing as a normal diet is 2000 calories, cutting it to 1300 seems to be enough to lose weight. It won't happen in a week. Give it time. You need enough calories to sustain your body and prevent it from going into "starvation mode" which would screw up your metabolism and make losing weight impossible [ Reply | More ]

np. 1300-1450 calories is very little if you do any sort of exercise at all or are even just an active person. be sure that what you're doing is healthy, sustainable and realistic for you [ Reply | More ]
