he sleeps w/ 2 which I got at my baby shower...they're both fabric w/ head of different animals, a frog and an elephant. I just put them in his crib, next to him every night till he started picking them up. still not totally attached but they comfort him for sleep [ Reply | More ]

dd is still attached to her small Gund teddy bear. Now called "Ted." Make sure whatever you get is washable and think about buying two. Other dd loved, loved the Land's End Scottish lace baby blankets...stilllikes them at age nineto have next to her pillow. Easy to replace, too. [ Reply | More ]

Just asking not judging - but is it 'recommended" to do this? I figure why create dependance on something? [ Reply | More ]

My 2.5yo has been crazy about his lovey since about 6mo. It's lamb head attached to a flattened body. I put it in his crib one night and he immediately grabbed it and needed to sleep with it ever since. [ Reply | More ]

I don't think you can switch up loveys. Someone recommended getting two of the same thing and alternating them so that you have a backup. Never did it, now it's too late, live in fear of losing Lambie. [ Reply | More ]

Oh, I should send you ds's lamb. He really doesn't like it. We tried to get ds a second rabbit, even before it was lost, but we haven't found another one. [ Reply | More ]

I don't remember. It is the same brand as the lost bunny. Bought the bunny at Target and the lamb on eBay. It wasn't a well-known name. What is the brand of your lamb, OR? I'll know it if I see it. [ Reply | More ]

All 3 of my dcs have a small blanket lovey that they cuddle with every night. Youngest is 6mo, oldest is 4yo. Around 5 or 6 mo I just started putting it in their crib with them. At that age I always notice that if they hold something they fall asleep easier, I think it stops them from swinging their arms around. [ Reply | More ]
