Why does this bother me? Dh and I are separated, getting divorced, I asked him to watch dc tomorrow night, he has plans. I asked him what, he wouldn't tell. wtf? I'm pissed off. Please tell me to get over it and give me good reasons to do so. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

You are divorcing so you DON'T have to be his keeper. Stop. [ Reply | More ]

Get over it. You are getting a divorce, he can do what he wants. It really, really sucks that he's started dating first, but it is what it is and you will move on in your own time. GL. [ Reply | More ]

op: thank you, I do need a reality check. A part of me was telling myself to stfu when I asked, if only to save dignity, but then this wave of anger came over me. This whole thing sucks. He started a relationship with another woman and yet I'm the one who gets to sit home stewing. Nobody said life was fair... [ Reply | More ]

I know, it totally sucks. But honestly, try to move past it. You won't be happy until you stop being so pissed at him, and it will actually bother him MORE when you are happy and don't give a crap about him! Hire a babysitter and have a great time. [ Reply | More ]

The right thing for dc's would be for him to stop fooling around and renew his committment to his marriage and family, to grow up and take responsibility for his actions, honor his vows, etc. It pisses me off when people get all sanctimonious on divorce- to avoid the demise of a relationship there must be two people in the relationship. So yes, it is the right thing for dc's. [ Reply | More ]
