12 mo refuses to drink cow's milk (took her off formula a week and a half ago). Ped said two servings of dairy daily would be fine. what do you think? (i wasn't sure if ped meant fine for a while or fine forever and the office is now closed so i thought i'd ask you all.) i feel like everything i've raed is that she needs the milk in addition to other dairy. i honestly don't see why, as long as she's getting enough fat and protein [ Reply | More ]

I think she meant fine for now - they need the nutrients from milk - I've never met a ped who said dbs don't need it, regardless of the nonsense you read here. FWIW op, it takes a while for them to get used to the diff in taste, don't sweat it [ Reply | More ]

yes -- she eats tons of yogurt daily. that's why i'm wondering if it's ok to skip the milk. [ Reply | More ]
