Have friends who say their 6yo is smart but lazy. Can you really tell if a child is "lazy" at that age? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

mnnn, i don't think so. when children that age are referred to as "smart" it really just means that they are engaged and interested in learning. their child is probably average, i mean, just based on that description [ Reply | More ]

Kind of. At least in that if homework is always a battle and dc always seems to want to do only the absolute minimum required, then s/he may be on the lazy side:) [ Reply | More ]
