Moved 3 yo into his bed from the crib. Mostly going well, but he cries every night between 4-5. Will not go back to sleep except in our bed. WWYD? Let him and hope he grows out of it, or keep bringing him back to his own bed, even if he doesn't resume sleep? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

this is a tough topic. I would bring back in. I know people on this site are anti-Chinese and oh so smart but non-Western cultures are not inferior but different. So if you look at Chinese, they allow their kids to sleep with them until dc are ready for transition. Moving a child out of your bed in the middle of the night would be a pretty traumatic experience. I would not do it. [ Reply | More ]
