how quickly do you expect your doctor or a nurse to call you back about a basic question? i have a new ped and called 2 hrs ago about a gas related question and have received no response. my old ped would have answered quicker. am i expecting too much? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Depends on how busy they are. And a gas related question? Doesn't sound like an emergency to me. [ Reply | More ]

ITA. When DD fell down a half a flight of stairs on a Sunday evening, I got a call back within 20 minutes. A phone call on a Monday morning about a low grade fever will take hours. [ Reply | More ]

if it's not an emergency, I give them all day. Many docs offices call people back on routine things at the end of the day. [ Reply | More ]
