I have a two family home in Park Slope. The apartment is 1/3 of the house so it is 1/3 of what it costs me to have the house. When I refinanced and lowered my mortgage payment, the rent of the apt went down. (The tenant was like, "huh?") I have no intention of raising rent other than to keep up with cost of heat/hot water. I actually found it on craigslist. The best no-fee 2BR doorman deals I found were a tiny 2BR in The Highgate at 94th and Lex and Normandie Ct (I know, I know) and then Yorkshire Towers on 86th and 2nd (they are adding a pool/it's a little run down). [ Reply | More
