I know it's not an exact science, but I can't figure out just how hard it is to get a place in a G&T. Crazy smart, above average, or it's totally random. (Friends' kids are not at that age yet). If you child scored above a 95% on the OLSAT... how well did you do in school yourself? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Thanks for playing. And that's really nice - I hope you are happy with your choices. Yeah, I will just have to wait and see. We would love to stay in our apartment but otherwise we'll make a plan... [ Reply | More ]

let's see. DC got a 98. DH did quite badly in high school and dropped out of college. He is very good in math and sciences, though (he is now working in IT). I did excellent in high school (valedictorian) but did quite badly in college. I ended up being an artist. [ Reply | More ]

You did excellent? LOL. I guess you were the valedictorian of a pretty crappy school. [ Reply | More ]

DC got a 99. I did ok at top schools. Was lazy, but an extremely good tester and knew how to "play the game" well. [ Reply | More ]

one 98 child, one 98. I always tested well at standardized tests (SATs better than GPA) and attended ivy league school where I was a solid B student. In grad school ivy I was all As. Hubby was a mediocre student and did not finish college. [ Reply | More ]
