so, we live in midtown and through our dd's bedroom vent came a smell a few days ago, which is supposedly from the building next door (which is flush to our building.) The apt next to ours (in the other building) was polyurethaning their floors. Now they are painting, and the fumes are coming through again. We moved out of the apt during the polyurethaning days, and now i'm not sure again. Any advice? I mostly am curious if there is a problem with our vent, or if this is normal...
