No, she may have asked dh (this was 10 years ago), but he doesnt care abt that stuff and I was excited to register and pick out my own stuff. I dont remember what we had but it wasnt mismatched (just inexpensive). Her reasoning is that has no boundaries. Things have been better and worse over the years. sometimes ok, sometimes awful. My anniversary was last week. I pulled out our wedding pictures to show my 3yo dd, and while she was looking at them, she kept saying "Grandma X is mad. Why is Grandma X mad, Mama." It was evident that our wedding day was the darkest day in my mil's life. Even a 3yo could see it. [ Reply | More
