Dd is 33 mo and is *almost* potty trained. She is wearing a pull-up and can keep it clean, no #2 in months, but freaks out when I try to get her to wear underwear. She cries and tells me that she's a baby and wants a diaper. Any advice? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

you could do a ceremony in which the pull-ups are tossed, I guess, and she gets to pick out new underwear at the store (does she like princesses? Elmo? that might attract her to the underwear) but she's still on the younger side, so you can also drop the issue and bring it up again in a couple of months. Do the other kids at preschool wear underwear? Peer pressure might get her to do it. [ Reply | More
