Depends how likely it is that the nickname will stick. Daniel will almost inevitably become Dan or Danny, so if you hate Dan, Daniel's a bad choice. But Isabel won't necessarily become Izzy, nor will [ Reply | More ]

I was on the fence too, but once i heard my mom utter the nickname of the name we chose while in the hospital w/ dd, i cringed--and we changed it to a non-nickname name. [ Reply | More ]
