My mom is always telling "white lies." I have to vent about this recent one. My dh's grandfather passed away two months ago. I, of course, told my parents the day it happened and have spoken to them many times since. My mother sent a card last week and apologized for the lateness of her condolences but she only just heard the sad news. Wtf? Did she think I wouldn't be asked by my gm-in-law about why I didn't tell my family that my dc's great grandfather passed away. I'm so mad. Her late note is far less upsetting to dh's grandma than the thought that I wouldn't mention such news to my own parents. Aaargh. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]
