Well, from day 1 we never let her sleep in our bdrm. We stayed in her room on a spare bed until she was 6 weeks old and sleeping thru the night. Then we returned to our room and got a monitor. At night the routine is consistent- bath, bottle, book, blanket, baby einstein cd and bed. She's never taken a pacifier, but prefers sucking her thumb. [ Reply | More

LOL!!!! You have no idea what you are in for. Dropping a nap is usually more than enough to reset a DCs sleeping habits. So is the first real nightmare and becoming articulate enough to express fear of the dark. All bets are off when DC moves from a crib to a bed. [ Reply | More
