Bucks County, in general has pretty great schools (look for any elementary that are feed inot Council Rock, in particular). It isn't really very crunchy in BC (in an UWS sort of way) but you will find an educated crowd. Yardley, Newtown, Holland are worth a look. I knwo people who commute to NY from there.
