Would love some suggestions on how to manage 2 yr old bedtime. DD used to go to bed very easily, to the point of asking us to leave the room. Now, going to sleep takes forever, usually she's in the room for at least 30 min on her own, singing and calling out to us sometime. We've cut her nap in the afternoon, but she still is not sleeping until 8:30 (used to be 7:30, then 8 as she got older). Any suggestions on what to do? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

If she is happy in her rooom she is jsut winding down for the night. Give her some books in her bed and let her sing and talk to herself as much as she wants. I did this with my dd and she now looks for ward to her nightly wind down reading time. [ Reply | More ]

My 2 yo is the same. For us, the only issue is that his chattering sometimes wakes his 9 mo sister sleeping in the same room [ Reply | More ]
