friend of 15 years didn't get me a baby gift (my son is 5 months old). she is a good friend and money is not an option. I think she is just selfish. it is not that I am expecting a big gift, but a small somethign for my son would be nice [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

she has more money thatn she knows what to do with. I don't have much yet always think of her. I would never expect anythign , it is jsut interesting , that strangers hae gotten my son gifts and a close friend (whom I am always there for) doesn't get him anythign. [ Reply | More

Then it may not have occurred to her, frankly. My single friends didn't really give me gifts for DB--and I have one friend who's single and really wants to get married and have kids and is freaked out that it's not happening.
