don;t know. She didn't volunteer any details and I didn't ask. Older than her DD I think. She is - of course - in shock and just seemed lost. A friend was going t o come help her for a while. I just hope she is ok [ Reply | More

OP me too. I hope it's good that she isn't here right now. I hope she and DD are both sleeping. Ugh. I lost a child at 3 days old so I can imagine what she is and will be going through in the coming days and weeks and months. I hope she has good friends. She will need them. [ Reply | More

I can and I can't stop thinking about her. It is truly the worst thing you can imagine and it feels that way for a very long time. I really can't imagine losing an older child though. As bad as losing an infant was, at least he wasn't part of my daily life. It was more the grief for what should have been than the thousand daily reminders that would come with something like this.
