What would you have done? Friend drove in with her ds for a playdate with my 21 mo. We went to the playground. 21 mo had a blast but kept opening the gate and leaving the playground. I stopped it everytime and said to stop leaving the playground, but he kept doing it. I wanted to tell him no more or we'll leave, but I felt guilty leaving when my friend had driven 1/2 an hour for this playdate. I just kept repeating no-no and tried to talk about it once we were at home. I was really torn b/c my instinct said we should have left. WWYHD? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

yeah, but leaving the playground is dangerous. I try to let the little stuff slide but want him to adhere to rules when they involve safety. [ Reply | More
