we live in a 100 year old building. The people above us are always banging around. Sometimes my chair MOVES when they pound by. I don't know if there is anything in our condo docs about this. Is there anything I can do? I know they have carpets down, but I think they are those flatter, older types. Does anyone else have this problem? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Sounds like a structural problem, not much you can do about that short of have extra insulation put in by tearing up your ceiling. [ Reply | More
