my 13 mo DS says dadada, rarely ma...ma and points to lots of things...he babbles often but says no "real" words. Should I worry? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

It's hard not to compare. Honestly, my ds had over 50 by 16 or so months after a sort of sluggish start. And his cousin had no words at all until he was around 20 mo, and now they're pretty much the same. The range is all over the place and I think receptive lang is the importnat thing anyway.
